  • ADVANCE PLACEMENT SUMMER WORK
    Students who have signed up for Advance Placement Courses are expected to complete summer assignments.  For some classes students are also require to purchase a textbook for the class.  Any questions about assignments or textbook should be emailed to the teacher.

  • SUMMER SCHOOL
    Summer School will begin on Monday, July 9th and run through August 3rd - Monday-Friday. Listed below are the scheduled class sessions.  All parents/students have been notified via phone calls on July 6th with information about class times.  If you believe you have a conflict with your class times, be sure to check your phone messages prior to contacting the the school.

    Reminder that students are expected to be on time and attend everyday.  Student is allowed only one absence multiple absences and/or tardies may result in dismissal from the program and forfeiting of tuition paid.

    Click to link to  2018 Summer Reading Assignments listed by grade.  This mandatory assignment will count as an English grade in the first quarter of the 2018/2019 school year.  Printed copies of these assignments can be picked up in the High School Main Office.

  • Graduation/Prom Photos
    Lifetouch is in the process of finalizing photos from these two events and will be uploading photos from both Jr./Sr. Prom and Graduation to the below webpage links.  

    You will need a Guest Access code for Prom pictures,  Each class Advisor emailed a Guest Access code for these photos to student's school email.   Parents/guardians should check email that the Class Advisor has as a contact for you.

  • National Guard Robotics Demonstration
    On Thursday October 19th Representatives from the United States Army National Guard  STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) team visited Oxford High School.  The Guard soldiers came fully prepared to educate students at OXHS with the regard to the construction and operation of a working Robot.  The soldiers had 25 brand new PITSCO Robot Kits for the students to enjoy and utilize to buildngRobot with all the parts and components needed.  More than 60 OXHS students from all grade levels participated in mixed groups building a Robot for their team.  All students were very successful in construction assisted by knowledgeable interactive mentors from the National Guard as well as Mr.PC and Mr. LeBlanc.  Students were allowed to utilize their Robot with camera assisted navigation.completing an  obstacle course.  We look forward to To the national Guard STEM Team re-vising OHS In January 2018.

    During the first day of school your student was given several documents from the office that need to be completed and returned by our next schedule Advisory Day on Wednesday, September 11, 2017 (except for Chromebook Insurance).  

    Listed below of all forms that were sent home:

    1. Biographical Verification Form
    2. Handbook Acknowledgement (see below link for Handbook)
    3. Health/Medical Form
    4. Photo Release Form
    5. Military/College Release Form
    6. Chromebook Insurance - collection date Thursday, September 7th
    7. Menus/Free and Reduced Lunch Application
    If students return these forms before 9/11/17, we request that they give them directly to their Homeroom Adviser.

    Signed Acknowledgement of Receipt forms sent home with students on the first day of school must be returned to the school on the next schedule Advisory Day on Wednesday, September 11th.  This form requires both student and parent signatures regardless of student's age.

  • 1:1 Initiative Information
    Oxford High School Administration and the Oxford Public Schools Technology Department would like to thank all of the parents who were able to attend the 1:1 Initiative Information Session on Tuesday September 27, 2016.  In an effort to provide information to parents who could not attend, the presentation as well as the 1:1 Initiative Guidelines are available by clicking Chromebook Guidelines.  All parents are asked to review these guidelines with their child in advance of our launch date of Monday, October 3, 2016.  Student-Parent Sign Off Forms must be completed and returned in order for students to receive their Chromebook.  

    All Grade 8-12 students will be issued a form that must be completed prior to a Chromebook being distributed to them.  By completing and signing the form, students and parents are indicating that they have reviewed the guidelines attached below and accept responsibility for the Chromebooks, including responsibility for cost of any damage due to loss or negligence.  Optional insurance is available for purchase at a cost of $30 per year.  Student and parent sign-off forms have been sent home with all students and are also available by clicking Student-Parent Sign Off Forms.   

    We are excited to be launching this 1:1 Chromebook Initiative and believe that the devices will be a powerful learning tool as we support all students to develop the skills necessary to be college and career ready in the 21st Century.
